Paul Helminger

Since August 1999 Paul Helminger is Mayor of the City of Luxembourg.

1966 - 1974:	Luxembourg diplomatic service: London, Helsinki, Geneva
1974 - 1979:	Chief of staff to Prime Minister Gaston Thorn
1979 - 1984:	State Secretary for Foreign Trade, Development Assistance and the Economic with particular responsibility for Domestic Economic Diversification incl. Foreign Investment and Foreign Development Assistance
1984 - 1989:	Managing Director of CompterLand Europe, at the time largest European PC retailer
1989 - 1999:	President, SERIE SA, a consulting boutique specializing in strategic business development and company restructuring for SME's
Since 1994:	Member of the Luxembourg Parliament.
