Lutz Heuser

Lutz Heuser is an expert in the areas of the Internet of Services, the Internet of Things, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and the web-based service industry. He launched research initiatives in the field of software technology for emerging economies and is active in this area on a global basis. Prof Dr Heuser was Director of the European Research Organization at Digital Equipment Corporation Equipment. He is an Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt and holds an Honorary PhD from the Technical University of Dresden. He is a member of the German Academy for Technological Sciences and Chairman of the International Research Forum and the Research Committee of the Munich Circle, both high-level IT research initiatives. Prof Dr Heuser serves as chairman of ISTAG, the European Commission’s Information Society Technologies Advisory Group.
